I'm a mature and experienced counsellor who works online and from my office in Muriwai Valley. I have a Masters degree from Auckland University in Counselling and am trained and experienced in ACT Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and aspects of EMDR. I am a member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors, meaning I am held to a high standard of accountability and practice as well as regular supervision sessions. My specialties include trauma processing, sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, changes in life (including mid life), mindfulness and working with religious trauma/spiritual abuse among other things.
Prior to training as a counsellor I worked as a primary school teacher.
