DClinPsy
I am a clinical psychologist with experience of working across a variety of health care settings and populations. I completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology through Canterbury Christ Church University, UK in 2021. Over the past 10 years, I have worked in various services including adult intellectual disability, adult in-patient and community mental health services and paediatric mental health. I primarily use the following models of therapy in my work: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and EMDR. I also draw on other models of therapy where necessary or useful. I am Irish but lived for several years in the UK before moving to New Zealand in February 2024 where I have been living and working since.
