Kate completed her training at the University of Otago in 2017 and has since made Marlborough her home. She has a friendly and genuine disposition and seeks to work collaboratively with her clients. She is motivated to work alongside individuals to help them make positive changes and improve their wellbeing. She uses a range of therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing. She also has a keen interest in Ecotherapy. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of psychological areas, including work for the Adult Mental Health Service and the Child Development Service. She is especially interested in relationships, anxiety, burnout, adjustment to parenthood, supporting children with regulation, and neurodiversity. She also has experience working with individuals with long-term health conditions, such as diabetes and Crohn's disease. Days available: Saturdays and Sundays
