BA (Psychology) B Counselling

Sally is a warm, compassionate, calm, and approachable counsellor who is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel understood, respected, and valued. Being a mature woman, she brings not only academic training, but also many years of life experience and her own journey of learning to her counselling practice.

Her personal experience alongside family members with neurodivergent traits has given her a deep appreciation for the many ways people experience and navigate the world. She offers a neurodiversity-affirming approach that supports clients to better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and develop strategies that work for their unique needs.

Sally’s counselling space has been intentionally designed to support comfort and sensory needs, including:

  • Fidget tools and sensory supports

  • Weighted blanket

  • Visual timer and whiteboard

Animal-assisted counselling

She also offers the option of animal-assisted counselling with her gentle labradoodle.  Their calming presence can help promote relaxation, connection, emotional safety, and comfort during sessions.
