Diana Hickey

Diana is a Clinical Arts Therapist with over twenty years of experience supporting children, adults, and elders across a wide spectrum of mental health needs. She holds a Master of Clinical Arts Therapy from Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design and has completed specialist training in complex PTSD and sexual trauma counselling. Her research, conducted under Canterbury Ethics Committee oversight, reflects a strong commitment to ethical, reflective, and evidence-informed practice.
Diana integrates creative, somatic, and relational approaches to help clients navigate trauma, grief, dissociation, and long-term stress, fostering resilience, meaning, and a sense of balance in everyday life. She is an ACC-registered Sensitive Claims provider for both individual and group therapy, offering culturally responsive, safe, and collaborative care that honours the whole person.
