Rachael Wilson
BSc. PgDip in Nutrition and Dietetics
Rachael is an Irish born, UK trained registered dietitian with over 21 years of experience specialising in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image and paediatric nutrition. She works with children, adolescents and adults experiencing anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge eating disorder and emotional or restrictive eating concerns, drawing on evidence based approaches such as family based therapy (FBT), cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) Motivational interviewing, Acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness based interventions.
Alongside her eating disorder work , Rachael supports neurodivergent individuals both children and adults, particularly those with ASD, ADHD and selective eating challenges such as ARFID. She brings her expertise in responsive feeding therapy and neurodiversity affirming approaches to help families reduce mealtime stress and build positive and sustainable relationships with food.
Rachael's practice is trauma informed, Health At Every Size approach (HAES), with a strong focus on body image and weight stigma. She is one of only 7 professionals worldwide to be selected as an affiliate child feeding specialist with the prestigious Ellyn Satter institute.
Passionate about changing the narrative around food and body image , Rachael combines her deep clinical experience with warmth and compassion. She works in partnership with families to support healing, resilience and a safe relationship with food and the body.
