Parts in Motion
Parts in Motion is an eight-week ACC funded group for women, available both in person and online, that brings together Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and nervous system regulation in a trauma-informed and supportive setting.
The group is designed to help participants better understand themselves, reconnect with their body, and develop greater compassion for the parts of themselves that have helped them survive difficult experiences.
Through psychoeducation, guided reflection, journalling, and gentle movement, participants learn practical ways to support healing, regulation, and a stronger sense of connection with themselves and others.
Many of us carry parts that work hard to protect us, manage difficult emotions, or help us cope with life's challenges. At times these parts can feel in conflict, leaving us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, reactive, or disconnected.
Participants explore how protective patterns develop, how different parts of ourselves influence our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and how greater balance, self-leadership, and self-compassion can be developed over time.
This is not a trauma-processing group. The focus is on education, self-discovery, and building a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
