Safe To Be Here
ACC Funded Therapeutic Retreat
ACC Funded Therapeutic Retreat
Safe to Be Here is a three-day ACC funded retreat for women that brings together Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma Sensitive Yoga, nervous system regulation, sleep hygiene, and understanding comfort eating within a trauma-informed and supportive environment.
The retreat is designed to help participants develop a deeper sense of safety within themselves while exploring the ways trauma can impact the body, sleep, daily wellbeing, and coping patterns.
Through psychoeducation, guided reflection, journalling, gentle movement, and practical strategies, participants are supported to better understand their inner world, strengthen regulation skills, and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
The three-day format provides space for learning, practice, reflection, and integration within a safe, supportive community. Participants are never required to share personal experiences and are encouraged to engage at a pace that feels right for them.
